Fully mastering 1007 requires the following: the fundamentals of alchemy, the basic theory of science, and the actual application of alchemy! Are you writing this down? You'll need to take these three classes, and then I will test you on this! You must pass this test in order for me to pass 1007 down to you! Got it?

From here on out, you will be living a new life as an item-producer on another level! You must always remember to take ownership of your craft when making an item! When you make an item, think of it as your way of instilling a part of you in that object!

I want you to make the Monster Crystal again, since it serves as one of the very basic items for item-production. I want you to make the Intermediate Monster Crystal! I'll need to look over the item and personally sign it off in order for you to pass this test! What happens if you don't pass? Of course you'll do this until you pass! ! Now, I want you to go make one right now! Don't do it half-heartedly!

(Moren seems way into his work to notice the call. Behind Moren, there seems to be a crumbled piece of paper.)

If you manage to make the item, then bring it to me. Of course, the chance of that happening would be less than 1%.

That's very foolish of you. A little mishap, and you'd be formally punished by the royal court, and you made the decision that quickly? But what can I do, since you really want to do it anyway. The request is for a 4001186. The materials are hard to find, and making this will require a lot of effort... if you want to keep your life in tact.
