Long ago, after the Black Magician disappeared from Ossyria, a group of alchemists got together and formed 261000000. The motto of the town is "Ultimate knowledge is only an experiement away."

The town itself is flush with money, since various results from experiments conducted with alchemy have been sold for lots of money. Even with all that, however, the town seems very isolated from the world. That's because alchemists in general are very introverted, which makes brokers like me much richer. Especially in times like this, where the town is in conflict...

261000000 is currently split into two: Zenumist and Alcadno. Zenumists are the ones considered pure alchemists that have successfully blended science and magic. Alcadnos are the ones that have added mechanical engineering to the already potent mix. They truly dislike one another, so if you want to get involved, you may want to think twice before going in.

Because of the current conflict, the already-insulated alchemists have withdrawn even further. I honestly think a traveler like you won't get anything substantial out of 261000000... it's much easier for you to do anything if you're affiliated with one or the other.

In order to join Alcadno, you'll have to compile a report of all the experiments you've conducted, and hand them to the leader of Alcadno Society, 2111001. Of course, the test doesn't end there... but I'll tell you the rest after you give me the ores.

Let me warn you in advance that Alcadno is full of mechanical engineers, so they are a bit...um... cranky. They are also shunned by other scholars, so you get the idea. Even with all that, if you still want to join Alcadno, then just get me 2 ores of jewels. It doesn't matter what kind, just get me two.

...Really? You're going to do it? I wasn't really expecting you to say yes, but... this is great. Then... I suggest you make your way to 261020700 of Alcadno. What's That Incident? Well, I don't think the president of our society wants to discuss this. He knows what happened, and yet he wants to keep it a secret... but I disagree. I believe that all alchemists of Magatia have a right to know the truth... the truth about That Incident...

It was a catastrophe unlike any other, and that all came from a foolish experiment conducted by an alchemist. As there are numerous experiments conducted at the same time, the alchemists are used to seeing their experiments fail. No failure, however, had affected the whole town of Magatia... not until then.

A few years ago, an alchemist from Alcadno made an error in the experiment. As a result, a huge explosion occurred, which brought an earthquake to all of Magatia... After the earthquake, the Magic Pentagram that had been existing in Magatia for the longest time started not working properly. That was the worst that could happen to this town...

No one knows what the experiment was about... actually the president might know, yet he doesn't mention it once. Why...? The only thing we know is that the one person that knows everything about this, the alchemist responsible for this incident, is missing....

Quest : Carson's Experiment

Then before starting this, I'd like to see what you are capable of. I'll be testing your ability to handle tough assignments. The test is simple, actually. Head off to the Closed Lab and rein in the dangerous 6110300s.

Controlling 6110300 can be done through the Pentagram of Alchemy, which is located at the center of the closed lab. Slay the 6110300s that are inside, recover the 4031698 that they have stolen, and throw it in the Pentagram of Alchemy. It will then be activated, which will control 6110300.

As a proof that you have successfully controlled 6110300, bring 4031709 back after using it all. Then, and only then, will I trust you to handle the more difficult task. If you think it's going to be tough, then you can bail out from this. If you bail out, however, you won't be able to obtain crucial clues on the missing alchemist.
