There's actually only one way to get from Maple Island to Victoria Island. Take the Southeast route at the split road, and you'll reach Southperry, where you'll find Shanks running a ship that heads to Victoria Island. He usually commands 150 mesos per ride, but for a great traveler like you, he'll probably let you go for free.

Here's the recommendation letter for you. If you have Victoria Island in mind, take this letter to Shanks. He'll let you get on the ride for free. I hope your journey is filled with greatness. I'll be watching...

The weapon I just gave you is a Razor, and it's a form of dagger. It should be slightly more powerful than the weapon you currently have. If you want to hunt, you'll need weapons that'll help you do so. I'm giving this to you as a gift, so that one day you'll catch up to this powerful weapon and make yourself very useful. You may want to equip it as soon as possible.

Alright, now go hunt 5 Stumps and bring back 3 Tree Branches. What's a Stump? It's a monster that strongly resembles the base of the tree. It has a very high level of HP, but it's so slow that you wouldn't have too much trouble with it. Good luck!

Red Snails have a much higher HP than Snails and Blue Snails. They are also faster than Stumps, so you better not underestimate those pesky creatures.

Not only are Slimes stronger than Stumps and Snails, they also jump from place to place. If you have snail shells, I suggest you use the Three Snails skill for some damage. Good Luck.

So, reports of late shows up a growth on masses of Orange Mushrooms around the Training Center. Your job, as an aspiring Explorer, is to help us cutting out 2 Orange Mushrooms from there. They are pretty tough and powerful, but don't take so much fear from this fact! If you trust in your abilities and focus on the combat, you should be able to handle those two handily.

The training is now complete. You may still have some weaknesses here and there, but you'll be able to overcome that in no time. Keep training!

Oh, and I have one last test for you. Think of it as a final exam. If you aren't satisfied with your current skill level and want to push further, then meet Bari, who will have a test in store for you.

Your test is to hunt an Orange Mushroom. It's the most powerful monster you'll find on Maple Island. To pass this test, you must defeat 1 Orange Mushroom and bring back 1 Orange Mushroom Cap as evidence. Good luck.

You have now passed every single test that Mai has to offer. Once you meet the requirements for the job advancement, I think you'll be ready to take on Victoria Island.

Before heading there, if you want to learn some more about Victoria Island, head to Southperry and look for Biggs. He has acquired extensive knowledge on Victoria Island through research, so he should be of great help to you.

Victoria Island is a humongous island that can only be reached by boat from Maple Island. This island, along with the continent Ossyria, takes up a majority of Maple World. I heard it used to be one with Ossyria... but no one can clarify that.

Victoria Island consists of four towns and one port, with Sleepywood located at the center. Each town is taken care of by the town chiefs, and they are also the master of each occupations. They are the ones you'll need to visit if you want to make the job advancement.

Maple Island can't possibly compare to Victoria Island in size. You'll encounter numerous people and monsters as you make your journey there. I heard that Orange Mushroom, the strongest monster in Maple Island, is really nothing in Victoria Island.

Even if you consider yourself prepared, any beginner that steps foot in Victoria Island should be very careful, but don't worry. The first place you'll land at Victoria Island, Lith Harbor, has someone that specializes in helping out beginners like you.

Look for Olaf at Lith Harbor. He's the one that helps out the beginners get acclimated to Victoria Island. He shouldn't be too hard to find. Hopefully this will do for you. Good luck on your journey.
